Although times are forever changing, as adults, we must remind today's youth that proper dress and behavior are always in good taste.
With brave wings, she flies.
Mirror Mode is a non profit organization based in Henrico County serving the Greater Richmond, Virginia areas. We bring educational workshops to youth to build self esteem and provide prevention awareness. Our workshops are open forums where teens can ask the questions they’ve always wanted to know. The ultimate goal is educating the community to build a better future for our families and communities. We are a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization.
The Mirror Mode Mentoring Program
The Mirror Mode Mentoring Program is a girl’s empowerment program held throughout the school year. With the help of volunteers who are passionate about empowering girls, we inspire girls to live out their dreams and become successful.

The Belle of the Ball workshop teaches girls the importance of having lady-like behavior. They are provided with classes on etiquette, self esteem and diversity. Generally, the workshop is centered around prom season to include giveaways for prom day (prom dresses, accessories, and services) and additional workshops on college and career. Although, prom is an important event in a girl's life, we feel the education is ever more important in today's times. Although times are forever changing, we must remind today's youth - proper dress and behavior are always in good taste.

Prom Dress Drives During the prom dress drives, we accept new and gently used, clean gowns, accessories, jewelry, and items young ladies can use on their prom day. Giveaways are also provided to them for services they can use for their prom, such as for hair styles, mani/pedicures, eyebrows and even restaurant giftcards for them to dine on their prom day.

Blossom educates pre-teens on the menstrual cycle and good hygiene. In many cases, girls are embarrassed or shy about discussing their menstrual cycle with their parents. This workshop is designed to answer the many questions girls may have, as well as educate them on being prepared. Girls are given Blossom bags during the workshop, in which are also items donated by the community in a back to school hygiene drive.
