One-on-one mentoring is child-focused and family driven.  Mentors teach, coach and aid children, adolescents, teens and families to develop specific skills, or to help an individual child with behavorial, emotional or development needs.  Mentors are professionals and come from all walks of life.

All mentors are screened, trained, and have experience working with children and families.  Each child or teen is assigned a mentor who collaborates with members of the child's family to work toward mutually agreed upon treatment goals.  These goals center around increasing a youth's independence, coping and social skills as well as connecting him or her to additional community resources.

Therapeutic Mentoring

Mentors provide one-on-one guidance to assist with planning and accomplishing goals, build self esteem and motivation, and provide positive resources for education and career.  By being a positive role model, mentors encourage positive relationships with family, peers and people of authority.  The goal is to challenge youth to step out of their comfort zone by making better choices for better life experiences and advancement.

Independent Living Coach   

Independent Living Coaches (ILC) assist youth in transitioning into independent living and adulthood.  The ILC will outline their strengths, areas of improvement, short term and long term goals.  By providing positive guidance, constructive feedback and life skills, the youth learns to build and maintain positive relationships in family, career, and the community.  The goal is to assist youth in becoming self sufficient, making positive choices and maintaining positive relationships.
